Mrs. Lessie Mae "Pitt" Jones, 83, died on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at Morrison Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Bright Hopewell Baptist Church in Laurinburg officiated by the Rev. Garland Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by six sons: Richard Jones of Laurinburg, Retired Colonel Don (Connie) Jones of Laurinburg, Dan (Donna) Jones of Colorado Springs, Colo., Billy (Annie Helen) Jones of Laurinburg, Tony Jones of Laurinburg, and Sheriff Shepard (Sonya) Jones of Laurinburg, daughter Mary Jones of Laurinburg, sister Minnie Sloan of Laurel Hill, four brothers: Lester Quick of Fayetteville, Bill (Kay) Quick of San Diego, Calif., David Quick of Pembroke, and Ralph Quick of Laurel Hill, 17 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
