Sadie Tucker Wilkerson, of Elsberry, Mo., formerly of Laurel Hill passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at the age of 75.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Sadie was born on Feb. 2, 1937 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Ollcy Tucker and Bertha Mae Goins Tucker Clark. She was the beloved wife to the late Cleters Wilkerson. She was a longtime professional hair dresser who owned and operated several beauty salons in the Charlotte and Laurel Hill areas. Before moving to Missouri, she enjoyed attending the Springfield Church of God, camping, and traveling. Mrs. Wilkerson was a mother to many and truly loved her time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son Jack B. Quick, brother Walter Sanford Clark, and sister Bertha Eva Martin.

She is survived by her children, son Ralph Edward Quick, Jr. and wife Caron of Clarksville, Mo., two daughters: Rita Faye Quick of Laurel Hill and Myra Lynn Quick Mabe and husband Preston of Elsberry, Mo., four sisters: Juanita Anne Barber and Sarah Sinclair both of Laurel Hill and Margaret Grannamann and Connie Grundin and husband John of O’Fallon, Mo., eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and extended family.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer’s Research at Alzheimer’s North Carolina, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609
