Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at the Wagram Church of God officiated by the Rev. Harry Clark and the Rev. Jerry Springs. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Patricia was born on Oct. 16, 1944, a daughter to the late Rufus Chester Britt and Julia Clark Britt. She was the devoted wife to the late Ernest J. Persinger. She retired from GKN Auto Parts after many years of service. Before her illness, she served as a faithful member of the First United Pentecostal Holiness Church. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and truly loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed being outside working in her flowers and garden.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law J.B. Lowe.
Patricia is survived by her son Ernest R. Persinger of Aberdeen, her daughter Tonya Page and husband William of Sanford, brother Thomas Britt and wife Nell of Clover, S.C., three sisters: Linda Lowe of Laurinburg, Betty McArthur and husband Donald of Maxton, and Pamela Ekis and husband Craig of Laurinburg, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Mrs. Persinger to Alzheimer’s of North Carolina, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.
