A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Hillside Memorial Park. Casual dress is requested for all.
She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Zins, her son Parker Zins of the home, her mother, Margaret Pate of Laurinburg, her brothers Roger Pate (Sheila) of Laurinburg and Ralph Byrd of Southern Pines, her sisters Janis Jones (Billy) of Laurinburg, Lesa Huff (Martin) of Pinehurst, and Tena Simmons (Terry) of Laurinburg, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father George Pate.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
