Funeral services for Mrs. Moore will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at Cedar Grove Church in Gibson. The burial and dove ceremony will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery in Gibson. The family will receive friends at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Laurinburg from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.
Survivors include five sons: the Rev. James Willie Moore of Hamlet, Jimmy Moore of Washington, D.C., Elvis Moore of Bennettsville, S.C., the Rev. Eugene Moore of Laurinburg, and the Rev. Kenny Moore of Laurinburg, two daughters: Angela Moore of Gibson and Hattie Moore of Gibson, four brothers: Ronnie Mackie, Samuel Mackie, and Lee Mackie all of Laurinburg and Charlie Mackie of Freeport, N.Y., three sisters: Eula Mae Steele of High Point, Louise Evangelist of Charlotte, and Maggie Bullock of Philadelphia, Pa.
