Earl Franklin Bradley, 80, of Laurinburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Laurinburg officiated by Rev. C.F. McDowell. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Earl was the son of the late Wallace and Emma Williamson Bradley, born in Scotland County on Feb. 25, 1932. He was a United States Army Veteran that served with the Military Police. He had a distinguished career as a teacher and coach with the Scotland County School System. He loved playing baseball and served for many years as an umpire with the Scotland County Parks and Recreation.
He was an active longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Laurinburg. He was very involved with his church family, served as Sunday School Teacher and the Church Staff Saxton. He especially enjoyed his time with his special friends.
He is survived by a sister, Ellen Hopkins of Carolina Beach, NC and several nieces and nephews.
