Mr. Samuel Massey, 72, of Laurinburg died on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at Morrison Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at Unionville Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg. The Rev. Alford Dudley will officiate. Burial will follow at Spring Branch-Matthews Cemetery in Wagram.

He is survived by his wife Doris Massey of Laurinburg, son Reginald (Sherry) Massey, Sr. of Louisville, Ky., four daughters: Winona Massey Gilchrist of Beaufort,S.C., Beverly Drewery-White of Plains, Md., Karen Wade of Durham, and Sharon Wade of Durham, two brothers: Hyder Massey and Harvey Massey of Wagram, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
