Mrs. Mary Driggers Paul of Laurinburg passed away at the age of 78 on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec/ 27, 2012 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Pastor Gordan Caughill and the Rev. Jim Thompson. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Mary was born on April 9, 1934 in Robeson County, daughter of the late Kenneth and Emma Scott Driggers. She was the beloved wife to the late Samuel Eugene Paul. She was a devoted homemaker and worked in textiles, retiring from JP Stevens, Inc., after many years of service. She served as a long time member of the Sneads Grove United Methodist Church. Mary loved making others happy. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and especially joining her breakfast groups at Bojangles and McDonalds. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and her church family.

Mary is survived by her children James E. Paul and wife Tommie Jo of Beaufort, Nancy P. Currie and husband Freddie of Laurinburg, and Pamela P. Lewis and husband Robert of Laurinburg, seven grandchildren: Tracy Emanuel, Chris Currie, Adam Paul, Ken Paul, Kaitlin Lewis, Emma Lewis, and Addison Lewis, four great-grandchildren: Skylar Pevey, Brayden Emanuel, Macey Paul, and Braylen Paul.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service on Thursday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

The family requests that memorial gifts be made in memory of Mrs. Paul to the Sneads Grove United Methodist Church, 12800 Old Wire Road, Laurel Hill, NC 28351.
