Lambert, of Maxton, the tribe’s vice chairman since being elected to the council three years ago, said he wants to continue working to better the lives of all tribe members. District 12 includes Scotland County, Maxton and Alfordsville.
“My goal is to pursue federal recognition and to provide support for our elders, veterans and boys and girls clubs,” said Lambert, whose district includes Scotland County, Maxton and Alfordsville. “I also support the services that are available to all other members of the Lumbee Tribe.”
