According to coach Molly McKenny, she did not know the final results due to having to leave before the meet was over because of a near two-hour commute.
In the boys race, Andrew Tietjen was the first of five accounted Scots runners to finish, coming in at 20:14.
Scott Poage finished second with a time of 21:12 while just a single second separated Tyler Denis (21:14) and freshman Kendall Romaine (21:15).
Richard Macy rounded out the top five with a rime of 21:41.
In the girl's race, Marina Baranik finished first for Scotland with a time of 26:35. Sophomore Courtney Poole, who was running in her first cross-country meet, crossed the finish line with a time of 27:37. Hannah Minard, a senior, came in at 27:45.
Scotland will begin its Southeastern Conference season when they travel to Lumberton on Thursday.
