Mrs. Naomi Pate Simmons, 81, of 906 Cliffdale Drive, Laurinburg, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010 at Scotland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 13, 2010 at noon at Franklin Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Laurinburg. The Rev. Paul Murphy will officiate. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Laurinburg. Visitation will be at McPhatter Funeral Home in Laurel Hill on Aug. 12, 2010 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Survivors are six daughters, Brenda Campbell (James E.) of Laurinburg, Gloria Jean Roberts of Queens, N.Y., Carolyn Simmons and Laureen Simmons of Bronx, N.Y., Edith Ann Simmons of Orlando, Fla., and Della Simmons of Jersey City, N.J.; three sisters, Nellie Mae Cummings of Laurinburg, Sadie Everrette of Chester, Pa., and Margaret Pate of Maryland; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
