The Scotland County residents claim their respective championships at the 2010 Scotland County Amateur Golf Tournament that was held at the Deercroft and Scotch Meadows Country Clubs.
Caldwell earned the top prize in the ladies' championship flight, shooting a 164 over the two-day period, nudging Evelyn Petker by just two strokes.
Linda Meredith came in third with a score of 171.
A score of 71 on the first day set the tone for Carter to claim the men's championship with a 143. Lex Hilton shot a pair of 74's to take home second place in the Championship A Flight.
In the Championship B Flight, Charles Grant shot a 168, beating out Charlie Pittman and Chris Huffman by four strokes each.
Wilson Hicks finished a stroke ahead of Chuck No in the First Flight. Mike Clemmons finished with a 155.
Just two strokes separated first place Bill Morgan (160) from third place Willie McPhatter (162). David Ganus finished second with a 161 in the Second Flight.
Ted Rogers finished with a 159, six strokes ahead of Kenny Allen (165) in the Third Flight and eight strokes ahead of Fred Adams (167).
In the Fourth Flight, Adam Holland and Alan Coble both shot 78s' on Sunday, but Holland was two strokes better on day one and won the flight with a 165. John Slaughter finished with a 173.
William McRae finished with a 172 in the Fifth Flight, nine strokes ahead of Tom Rosinski and ten ahead of Emory Hunt.
In the sixth and final Flight, Ed Wright shot a 183 to win. Danny Holland came in second with a 195 while Will Cooper shot a 205.
