But authorities say Cory Lamont Carter was not deterred by the store's name or much else when he plowed a stolen car through the Gibson convenience mart front window.
Investigator Jamie Laviner said Carter drove into the Highway 381 business to steal cigarettes.
Carter, 32 was arrested Saturday at his Gibson Smith Road home in Hamlet by Laviner, with help from Richmond County deputies. He is charged with two counts each of burglary and larceny. Carter was placed in Scotland County jail under a $40,000 secured bond.
He is also accused of breaking into Fast Trax, a Gibson convenience store, and stealing cigarettes.
Carter made the nine-mile trek by foot from his Hamlet home to Fast Trax, where he threw a cinderblock through the window early Saturday morning, Laviner said. He took an unspecified number of cigarettes and a store security camera, according to the report.
Taking the camera did little to obscure the crime, Laviner said, as the camera sends the footage to a separate recording device.
He is also charged in Richmond County with motor vehicle theft.
Carter has a lengthy criminal history, according to the state Department of Correction. He has been convicted of four counts of larceny, two counts of breaking and entering, and one count each of being a habitual felon, arson, assault inflicting serious bodily injury, drug possession and resisting arrest.
He spent more than nine years in prison where he was cited for 43 infractions for offenses ranging from gang involvement to bribing a prison guard, according to the DOC. He was released in February.
