Ann Marion Renz Jeremiah, age 69, of Flowery Branch, Ga. passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Norman Walter Jeremiah, Jr.; her parents, Edward James Renz and Ann Stark Renz; and her sister, Kay Renz Troyer. She is survived by her three children: David Norman (Dianne) Jeremiah of Florence, S.C.; Sharon Ann (Loren) Seabolt of Flowery Branch; and Jeffery Alan (Tommie Anne) Jeremiah of Suwanee, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Danielle Nicolle (Robert) Schleifer of Augusta, Ga.; James Marcus Jeremiah of Pensacola, Fla.; Brian Clark Seabolt of Flowery Branch; Joshua Alan Jeremiah of Suwanee; Elisabeth Anne Jeremiah of Suwanee; Mary Ashlyn Jeremiah of Suwanee; and Mark Andrew Jeremiah of Suwanee. Ann Jeremiah was born May 20, 1941 in Newark, N.J. She was married to Norman Walter Jeremiah, Jr. on Nov. 26, 1959. She was a retired nurse. Upon retirement, she relocated to Flowery Branch where she made her home for the past 12 years. Ann served the Lord in many capacities in the local church including Sunday School Teacher, VBS teacher, choir member and a church pianist. Her legacy lives on through the lives of her children and grandchildren who are serving the Lord in many different roles of church leadership. Ann has one grandson studying to be an evangelist at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla. and another grandson studying to be a missionary at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care given to their mother by the staff of Southern Care Hospice and to their cousin, Cheryl Cotterell of Clarksville, Tenn. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Lyle officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 1 until 2 p.m.
