13-14 year-old championship
Champs 6, Canadys 4
After trailing Canadys for most of the regular season, Champs came away with the 13-14 year-old regular season championship with a 6-4 victory.
Champs finished the season at 12-3 while Canadys finished 10-5.
Champs was led at the plate by Jonathan Walters (1-for-2) and William Almond (1-for-1) who each drove in a run. Dylan Ward picked up the win on the mound.
Cody Freeman paced Canadys with a 2-for-3 showing with an RBI.
Defenders (10-5) finished tied for second with Canadys while Holiday Inn and Shirt Tales finished with identical 3-12 records.
Following the Defenders win on Tuesday, Logan Ward was presented with the trophy for MVP of the league.
15-16 year-old championship
Caulders Towing 12, Nic's Pic 3
After Nic's Pic forced a tiebreaker with Caulders the night before, Caulders took care of business and clinched the 15-16 year-old regular season championship on the strength of a 12-3 win.
Trae Revels was the winning pitcher for Caulders (8-4). Patrick Cummings relieved Revels to preserve the win.
Kyle Clark turned in a 3-for-4 performance to lead the champions at the dish. Jordan Dickerson finished a perfect 2-for-2 with a pair of walks.
Ronnie Moore had the top finish runner-up Nic's Pic (7-5), going 2-for-3.
Along with these teams, Jerry's Deli rounded out the 15-16 year-old division with a 3-9 record.
