A Laurinburg fast food restaurant was target of burglars, according to Laurinburg police.

A pair of men entered Burger King on South Main Street just after midnight on Wednesday by breaking the drive-thru window, according to Detective Chris Young. The two men then broke into the fast food restaurants office where they forced open the safe and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Damages were estimated at $500.

Young said there are no leads yet in the case.

Police were still reviewing video surveillance tapes and did not release a description of the men.
