Jonathan Mims has joined Mac McIntyre Insurance Agency in Laurinburg, the company has announced. He began on June 1.

Mims is a Scotland County native and 1994 Scotland High School graduate.

Mims has been married to Sheri Martin Mims for 13 years and have one son, Justin. The couple is expecting a newborn in August.

Mac McIntyre Insurance Agency is at 213 East Cronly Street.
