Letter: City utility crew thanked

Saturday evening, we discovered a limb had fallen on the power line to our home. A crew from the city's utility department came out and assessed the situation. They then called for a truck to trim the trees, in the dark, they backed up my long driveway threaded their way between our gardens and removed the offending limb.

In a short time, they had cleaned up the limb and branches and were gone. We were impressed with their promptness, decision making and skills.

Thank you utility crew for your services – regular and extraordinary.
