Survivors are his son, David Carter, Jr. of West Palm Beach; one daughter, Keisha Carter of Fayetteville; one brother, Clarence Everett, Jr. of Laurinburg; and one sister, the Rev. Mattie (John) Austin of Maxton. The family will receive friends Friday at Morris Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. The family is also receiving friends at the home of Mrs. Doris Morrison at S. PIne Street.
