Ethan Storm is up to his old tricks again.

The last time that American Championship Wrestling rolled into Laurinburg back in January, the resident bad boy clocked The Lumbee Warrior with a hammer before being run off by the imposing Sixx. Now the band of local wrestlers are coming back.

ACW will be putting on a live show at the Laurinburg National Guard Armory on South Main Street this Saturday, Apr. 24. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with bell time set for 7:30 p.m.

The ACW company is a group of home-grown talent, most of whom reside in the Scotland-Robeson County area.

"We’ve got some of the best un-signed talent on the east coast,” said Graves, Co-Owner of ACW who also doubles as Storm in the ring. “We’re not sure of anyone new joining us this time but that’s the beauty of our business, you never know who’s going to show up. There’s always surprises to please the crowd, which is what we intend to do.”

Since the last show, Cham Pain, who was the tag team partner of Storm, has retired, and the status of the tag team championships is up in the air.

One of the big welcome backs for this event will be the return of the former tag team champions, Soul Patrol.

It is unknown at this time if Sixx, who was unveiled at the January event, will be back for Saturday's event.

Also expected to be there are Futonga and Alex Adonis, who have some unfinished business to tend to regarding Adonis' manager, Cristal Clear. Timber "The Insane Lumberjack" and his manager, Joey Lugz are set to return.

One of the possible surprises that Graves mentioned is a possible formation of Chief Red Thunder and The Lumbee Warrior, both of whom reside from nearby Pembroke.

Scott Powers is expected to put his championship belt on the line, most likely against one of the members of Soul Patrol.

“We want to show the people that we’re credible and we work hard,” Graves said on what he wants to accomplish. “We want to put together a product that families can enjoy.”

Cost of the show is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
