The Scotland track team accumulated 126 points, on the way to its fourth consecutive top finish this spring.
With spring break on the horizon, Coach West Mattera gave some of the back-ups an opportunity to show what they could do and they more than stepped up to the challenge.
"There has been some cross talk and texting about who the best team in the conference between our guys and Richmond," Mattera said about the rivalry between the Scots and Raiders. "We had some guys injured and some on vacation, but the guys were able to pull together and get it done."
With most of the starters out, the Scots managed to set its best time in the 3200-meter relay with a time of 9:21.52.
Following a fourth place finish by Tye Marshall in the shotput, Robert McNeil came up with a first place finish in the 110-meter hurdles.
Sey’yan Moody took second with James Anderson and Deon Johnson, rounding out the pack.
McNeil’s time of 14.55 and Moody’s 14.91 finish, were personal bests for the year.
Shaquille Ray finished first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.44. Josh Quirk finished second in the race, and his time was good enough to qualify him for regionals.
Lonnell Henderson and Jacquice Bethea got their opportunities to compete and made the best of it, finishing first and second in the discus.
The team of Quirk, Tony McRae, Isaiah Robinson, and Malcolm Jones brought home the win in both the 4X100 and 4x200.

McIntyre qualified for regionals in the 300-meter hurdles after finishing second behind Moody.
