Carver softball remains undefeated with win over Marlboro Academy

BENNETTSVILLE,SC- The Carver middle school softball improved to 6-0 going into spring break with 15-2 win at Marlboro Academy.

Hailey Butler picked up the win for the Lady Eagles, striking out 10 Lady Dragons over five innings of two-hit ball.

Carolina Howard led the Carver attack with a 2-for-3 day at the plate with a pair of triples.

Carlie Suggs matched her teammate by also going 2-for-3.

Madisyn Wallace, Heather Williams and Maygahn Campbell all went a perfect 1-for-1 in the win.

Danesha Jones and Katelyn Britt both turned in 1-for-3 performances.

Carver will look to continue their undefeated streak when they host Spring Hill on Apr.19 at 4 p.m.
