Freshman midfielder Megan Jolly averaged 4.3 goals, 2.0 assists, 6.3 points, 3.3 draw controls, 3.0 ground balls, and 2.0 caused turnovers in three Conference Carolinas games this past week, as the St. Andrews women's lacrosse team picked up its first two league wins of the season.
Jolly started the week with a season-high six goals in a 15-8 conference road win at Converse College. Jolly also had a team-high three caused turnovers holding the Valkyries to their lowest point total of the season.
Jolly helped SAPC net its second straight win with an impressive eight-point performance in a 20-2 win against league foe Erskine College on Saturday. Jolly added four ground balls and four draw controls to her four goals and four assists.
Jolly capped her week with a team-high five point showing against Queens University of Charlotte. Playing her second game in as many days, Jolly still managed a hat trick, two assists, and four draw controls against the Royals.
Jolly finished the week with 13 goals, 6 assists, 19 points, 10 draw controls, 9 ground balls, and 6 caused turnovers.
The Waterloo, N.Y. native, has scored in her first ten collegiate games and ranks in the top ten nationally in all three offensive categories with 39 goals, 19 assists, and 58 points on the season.
Jolly and the Lady Knights lacrosse team next hosts Conference Carolinas foe Pfeiffer University in SAPC’s home finale today at 4 p.m.
