Art work will be displayed at a county wide art exhibition in the gallery of the School of Visual and Performing Arts with an Opening Night Artist Reception on April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The art work will be sold in an silent action. The auction will close at 8 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the art programs of each supporting school.
All students kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to submit work. The school will be accepting all media types, but entries must be "tiny," not exceeding seven inches in any one direction.
All two dimensional work should be in a matte and tagged with the students name, school, media and title if appropriate. The deadline to turn in work in is March 31 at 5 p.m in Room 120 at the school.
Three winners from elementary, middle and high school levels will be chosen.
Art faculty from Scotland County Schools will have the opportunity to display their work alongside the student's tiny art.
The reception and auction is open to the community. Prices will vary for each piece.
