Lisa Wilkes Vallandingham, 49, of McQueen Road was traveling north on Hasty Road when her vehicle ran off the road and struck a mailbox, according to reports. The vehicle then skidded back onto the road and ran off the left side and overturned.
Vallandingham, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle.
Troopers were called to the wreck shortly after midnight and Vallandingham was transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital where she died of injuries from the wreck.
