The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born Feb. 25, 1944 in Scotland County, son of the late Roy Blue Davis and Maggie Burt Davis. He worked with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, retiring after many years of service.
He was a member of the Bennettsville Victory Christian Center and loved fishing and visiting people.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret S. Davis.
He is survived by his children, sons Michael Kersey of Laurel Hill and Larry Bazley Bullard and wife Dennis of Laurel Hill; a daughter, Suzanne Kersey Blackwell of Laurel Hill, a sister-in-law, Emma Wallace of Clio, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
