Sophomore guard Megan Lee led the St. Andrews Presbyterian College women's basketball team to its first Conference Carolinas win in two years with an impressive performance against Coker College on Wednesday evening.
Lee set new career-highs of 26 points, eight rebounds, and four made 3-pointers to lead the Lady Knights to the 12-point victory. Lee was on fire all night shooting 61.5-percent (8-of-13) from the field while having a perfect touch on specialty shots making 6-of-6 (100 percent) free throws and 4-of-4 (100-percent) three-pointers.
The Lady Knights outscored Coker, 21-4, in the final minutes with the run highlighted by a go-ahead trey from Lee at the four-minute mark.
The Chillicothe, Ohio, native leads the Royal Blue & White active players with 10.8 points/game.
Lee is SAPC's first women's basketball Player of the Week in two years since Danielle Norman was tabbed a Player of the Week in January of 2008.
