Terry Glenn Taylor, 44, of Pea Bridge Road, Laurinburg died suddenly Sunday, Jan. 24 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Northview Harvest Ministries. Burial follow at Sandhills Baptist Church cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Jo-Anne Smith of Laurinburg; two sons, Ryan Chappell and Thomas Glenn Taylor of Laurel Hill; a daughter, Heather Chappell of Laurel Hill; his grandmother, Meloise Grooms of Laurel Hill; a sister, Tammy Pate and husband, Keith of Laurinburg; three brothers, Tommy Taylor and Mark Smith of Laurinburg, and Timmy Taylor and wife, Sue of Clover, S.C.; nephews, Allen Greene, Joshua Pate, and Rusty Badger; nieces, Amanda Lee and Amber Smith; great nephews, Nathan Autry and Seth Lee; his aunt, Linda Herndon; his dog, Freckles; and several cousins and a host of friends.
Born Nov. 24, 1965 in Scotland County, he was also a son of the late Richard Taylor and grandson of the late George Grooms. Terry worked with Pate’s Painting and loved NASCAR, drag racing, basketball and football.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
