Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Northview Harvest Ministries. Burial follow at Sandhills Baptist Church cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Jo-Anne Smith of Laurinburg; two sons, Ryan Chappell and Thomas Glenn Taylor of Laurel Hill; a daughter, Heather Chappell of Laurel Hill; his grandmother, Meloise Grooms of Laurel Hill; three brothers, Tommy Taylor and Mark Smith of Laurinburg, and Timmy Taylor (Sue) of Clover, S.C.; nephews, Allen Greene, Joshua Pate, and Rusty Badger; nieces, Amanda Autry and Amber Smith; great nephews, Nathan Autry and Seth Lee; his aunt, Linda Herndon; his dog, Freckles; and several cousins and a host of friends.
Born Nov. 24, 1965 in Scotland County, he was also a son of the late Richard Taylor and grandson of the late George Grooms. Terry worked with Pate’s Painting and loved NASCAR, drag racing, basketball and football.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
