Susan Alshayef of Laurinburg won $100,000 in the state lottery, officials announced this week.

Alshayef won by playing the $200 Million Extravaganza instant scratch-off game at the Mill Road Grocery on Mill Road in Rockingham.

She told lottery officials she is thinking of taking a trip with her winnings, which totaled $68,001 after taxes.
