James Anthony Brayboy, 25, was arrested at his Marston Road in Laurel Hill on Tuesday and charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a drug dwelling, according to Investigator Scott Jacobs with the Scotland County Sheriff's Office. Deputies also seized marijuana from the home, though the department would not release the amount.
The investigator said Brayboy is currently on probation for other drug offenses.
"This arrest was the result of an undercover operation that lasted several months," Jacobs said. "It was based on complaints we received from the Marston Road area."
The Laurel Hill man will likely be incarcerated if convicted, Jacobs said.
Brayboy is in Scotland County jail under a $30,000 secured bond and will have his first appearance in court this morning.
