One thief may have gone on a holiday shopping spree with someone's credit card, according to a sheriff's report.
Cathy Monroe, 48, of Palmer Road, Marston, told deputies that someone spent $750.38 on one of her financial cards sometime between Dec. 4 and Dec 25, the report said.
The Scotland County Sheriff's Office is investigating this theft.
Two break-ins reported
Two more break-ins were reported in Scotland County on Tuesday.
Johnny Lee Richardson, 30, told deputies that someone broke through the window of his Plant Road residence in Laurinburg sometime between Christmas Eve and Tuesday, making off with a television worth $1,000 and a camera worth $100, according to a sheriff's report. Damage to the window was estimated at $100.
Deborah Hamer, 51, reported that someone kicked in the door of her Marston Road home in Laurel Hill and stole a Playstation valued at $150 and jewelry worth around $150, according to a sheriff's report. The door frame sustained $50 in damages.
Pitbull pup taken
A Laurel Hill man told deputies someone stole his dog.
Kyle Kendall, 25, told deputies that sometime Tuesday night, someone took a pitbull puppy from the yard of his home on Andrew Jackson Highway, according to a sheriff's report.
