Funeral services were on Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 at Huckabee Grove Emanuel Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Larry Singletary. Burial followed the service at Pee Dee Baptist Church Cemetery.
Larry was born Dec. 4, 1959 in Robeson County, son of the late Walter and Ida Parham. He served proudly as a member of the South Carolina National Guard and formerly worked with Sopacko Corporation. He was a talented electrician and mechanic who enjoyed building items such as grills and decks.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Wiley Parham and a sister, JoAnn Barfield.
Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Hayes Parham of the home; sons, Larry W. “Scooter” Parham and fiancé Sheena of Laurinburg, and Richard H. “R.J.” Parham and friend Brandi of the home; a daughter, Hayley Lynne Parham of the home; a brother, Walter “W.M.” Parham of Laurel Hill; sisters Mary Lee Parham of Albemarle, Francine Morrissey of Cheraw, S.C., Linda Clark of Laurel Hill, Evelyn Haire of Tatum, S.C., Carolyn Parham of Cheraw, and Betty Faye Roscoe of Bennettsville, S.C.; and his grandchildren, Hailey Nicole Scott, Cadience Amaya Parham and John Wesley Parham
