In her presentation, Mason shared vital statistics, risk factors and treatments for breast cancer.
The event was sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, which partnered with local churches and other organizations to address issues and concerns of women.
Organizers say that since 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha has responded to the world's increasing complexity by continuing to empower communities through service initiatives and programs.
