The following is an update on several former gridiron and wrestling standouts from Scotland High School.

Terrell Manning-Redshirt freshman linebacker, North Carolina State

Manning has seen action in 12 games this season for the Wolfpack. The 2008 Scotland graduate has registered 42 tackles, with 22 of them being solo.

Tony Robertson-Junior defensive end, Appalachian State

Robertson has played in 12 games for the Mountaineers this season, who are at Montana in the FCS playoffs on Saturday.

Tavaris Washington-Senior wide receiver , Appalachian State

The 2005 Scotland graduate has seen action in 10 games this season. He has caught a pair of passes for 10 yards.

Wrestling

Alejandro Soto-Perez- UNC-Greensboro, 149-pound

Soto-Perez competed in the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational last weekend. He dropped both of his matches, including an 11-9 decision in the second match.

Andre Ellerbe- St. Andrew’s, Heavyweight

Ellerbe is currently 2-2 in matches this season for the Knights, and 1-0 in dual tournaments. Both of his wins have come by decisions, including a major decision.

Casey Gashaw- St. Andrew’s,

125/133-pound

The junior is 2-2 this season for SAPC and like Ellerbe, is 1-0 in duals. Of his two wins, one has come via pin.

Troy Baranik- St. Andrew’s,

157-pound

The former Scotland standout is still in search for his first win of the season. He’s currently 0-4.
