More than 75 entries are scheduled to travel down Main Street in Laurinburg tomorrow when the annual Laurinburg Christmas Parade takes place. Parade participants are asked to line up along Railroad Street from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon to begin walking or riding along the mile and a half long route.

The parade will start at 2:30 p.m., and will travel south from Railroad Street along Main Street in downtown Laurinburg. The parade will follow Main Street before finishing at Plaza Road near the National Guard Armory.

Two regional celebrities will lead the parade. Rusty Ray, news anchor and producer for WBTW Channel 13 along with Emmy McLean, the 2010 Miss Greater Sandhills, will serve as grand co-marshals.

The parade lineup is posted on the Laurinburg/Scotland County Area Chamber of Commerce’s website at www.laurinburgchamber.com.
