Quatrell "Trell" Lamar Nicholson, 18, of 329 Grant Street, Laurinburg, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting-death of 31-year old Chris McKoy, of Maxton, according to a sheriff's report.

McKoy's body was found dumped on the side of the road on Sept. 6.
