Game 1 was a 6-0 victory over the DC Storm. Cameron Sharpe pitched a gem on the mound racking up 8 strikeouts in a complete game no-hitter. Leading hitters for the Pride were Kelsey Smith (2-2), Darrian Ivey (1-1 2b), Cameron Sharpe (1-2 3b), Nadia Walter (1-2) and Haven Birchfield (1-2).
Game 2 saw the 10U Pride tally 16 run as the Pride held the Carolina Ice scoreless. Darrian Ivey had a stellar performance on the mound throwing a 6 strikeout complete game no-hitter. Leading the Pride at the plate were Megan Parker (1-1), Kelsey Smith (1-1), Cameron Sharpe (1-1), Nadia Walters (1-1), Maggie Laviner (1-1), Haven Birchfield (1-1), Alexis Britt (1-2), Morgan Parker (1-1, grand slam inside the park homerun) and Jenna Ridge (2-2).
In game three Ivey pitched another gem on the mound throwing a complete game no-hitter with 12 strikeouts as the Pride defeated the Chatham Crush 9-0. The Pride was lead at the plate by Ivey (3-3), Nadia Walters (2-3), 5 other Pride players added a hit each, Alexis Britt, Morgan Parker, Kelsey Smith, Jenna Ridge, Debbie Kyle. In the Championship Game, the Pride defeated the Rampage 8-4. Ivey picked up the win on the mound giving up 2 hits with 12 strikeouts. Leading hitters for the Pride were Megan Parker (2-3), Kelsey Smith (1-3), Darrian Ivey (1-3), Cameron Sharpe (1-3), Nadia Walter (2-3), Maggie Laviner (1-2), Haven Birchfield (1-1), Alexis Britt (1-2, inside the park homerun). Darrian Ivey was awarded the Championship Game MVP.
The 10U Pride will return to action on Oct. 24 in Siler City for the IFA Scaremare Tournament.

LATTA, SC - The Carolina Pride 8U Fastpitch Softball team finished runner up in the WFC Fastpitch Frenzy in Latta, SC. This was the 8U Pride first tournament ever.
“I’m very pleased witht eh way we played in our first tournament as a team and look forward to our next tournament in Siler City on Oct. 24th," said head coach John Ridge.
The 8U Pride was defeated in the Championship game by the Dixie Chicks of Darlington, SC. The 8U Pride were led at the plate by Lindsay Hunter (.910), Marley Gamburg (.890), Katie Lighthall (.790) and Abigail Ridge (.730). The 8U Pride will return to action on Oct. 24 in Siler City, NC at the IFA Scaremare Tournament.
