The Scots (7-4 and 7-2 Southeastern Conf.) win came over the Bucks with a score of nine to zero.
The Scots got on the board early with a win from singles number one Jessie Boda. Boda beat her Hoke oppenent Lauren Grant by the scores of 6-0 and 6-0.
Eleanor Sojka picked up the next point for the Scots by winning her number two's match on Thursday afternoon. Sojka beat Hoke County's Alyssa Reynolds in straight sets by the scores of 6-0 and 6-0.
Munroe Buie picked up a win for the Scots in the her number threes match as well. Buie ousted Maggie McKenzie by the scores of 6-1 and 6-3.
Jessica Shelley picked up the next point for the Scots by beating Hokes' Taylor Webb in straight sets as well. Her win came with the scores of 6-2 and 6-3 respectively.
Charlotte Laurent took on Farhana Shemna on court five and beat her by the scores of 6-2 and 6-3.
In the final singles match, Scotland's Cori Newton picked up a win in her match. She won her match 6-0 and 6-2 respectively over Courtney Pope. Newton's win gave the Scots a 6-0 score going into doubles matches.
In doubles Boda and Sojka beat Hoke's number one and number two starters by the score of 8-0. The win gave the Scots and 7-0 advantage over the Bucks.
Newton and Mary Tate beat Hoke's number three and number four starters by the score of 8-2.
Shelley and Laurent took on Hoke's five and six seeds and beat the by the score of 8-1 respectively.
The Scots will participate in the Southeastern Conference Tournament on Oct. 13 through 15 at the Pinecrest Country Club. Matches start at noon on the 13th. The top three individuals in singles and doubles will advance to regionals.
