Tocarra Kelly of Laurinburg and Jay F. Frederick of Fayetteville were married Aug. 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg with the Rev. T.R. Davis officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Kelly of Laurinburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Watson, Jr. and Ms. Bernice Kelly of Laurinburg.

The bridegroom's mother is Mrs. Elizabeth Carr of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Jackson of Illinois.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mr. Samuel G. Kelly. The Maid of Honor was Ms. Ava Kelly, sister of the bride. The Best Men were the groom's brother, Mr. Devone Jackson, and the groom's best friend Mr. Shawn Crockett.

A reception was held at The Highlands following the ceremony.
