The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Kelly of Laurinburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Watson, Jr. and Ms. Bernice Kelly of Laurinburg.
The bridegroom's mother is Mrs. Elizabeth Carr of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Jackson of Illinois.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mr. Samuel G. Kelly. The Maid of Honor was Ms. Ava Kelly, sister of the bride. The Best Men were the groom's brother, Mr. Devone Jackson, and the groom's best friend Mr. Shawn Crockett.
The bride wore elegant embroidery on the contoured strapless bodice where it met the crossover draping to the dropped waistline. Asymmetrical draping cascaded onto the A-line skirt with embroidery decorating the chapel length train. The color was ivory and silver. The bride carried a bouquet of chocolate roses and blue hydrangeas.
The wedding was attended by more than 300 guests.
A reception was held at The Highlands following the ceremony.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple now reside in Baltimore.
