Faith Presbyterian Church at 2220 Elm Ave., Laurinburg will hold their annual ingathering Oct. 8 with lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 until 7 p.m. on the church grounds. Barbecue from General McArthur's restaurant and chicken salad prepared by the Presbyterian Women will be offered with a dine-in or take out option. Deliveries will be available for 10 or more orders.
"We invite everyone to come enjoy our famous chicken salad, as well as our definitely famous orange-pineapple salad, both made by the women of Faith Presbyterian Church," committee member Denise McGirt said.
Church Elder Jim Faulkner hopes the community will continue to support the Fall Ingathering, which has continued for more than 35 years.
"Sales from the Ingathering is our largest moneymaking venture of the year," Faulkner said. "We generally sell up to about 2400 plates."
Prices are $7 per plate or for a one pound container. Call the church at 276-9151 on Oct. 7 to place an order.
