9th graders win again

ROCKINGHAM - The Scotland ninth grade volleyball won again on Monday afternoon to stay undefeated on the season.

The Scots (8-0) beat Richmond Green (5-3) in Rockingham in straight sets in both their games. The scores were 25-11 and 25-19 in the first game and 25-14 and 25-7 in the second game.

Bri Harris lead the Scots with 27 serving points and six aces against the Richmond Green Raiders.

Destiny Groove had career game with 17 serving points along with five aces and threes kills on the afternoon.

Bailey Jacobs also chipped in with 17 serving points and four aces.

Courtney Williams followed with 15 serving points and four aces.

The Richmond Green team was 5-1 going into the game against the Scots.

The ninth grade volleyball team will be traveling to Rockingham next Monday to take on Richmond Gold at 4:30 p.m.
