Often as we've journeyed along Highway 74 between our home in Wilmington and Charlotte we've talked about stopping in Laurinburg. We just never found a reason... until today. Your first ever Highland Games!
What a great first time event. The entire thing was well organized. The people couldn't have been nicer and the setting on the grounds of the historic Blue home was perfect. The organizing committee is to be commended. But it was also obvious that there had to have been a lot of community support to make a first time event so successful. We look forward to the 2010 edition.
