Deputies arrested a man caught dancing naked in the streets of Gibson.
William York, 49, of Henderson Street, Gibson, was arrested for indecent exposure and impeding traffic, a sheriff's report said.
York was placed in Scotland County jail under a $1,000 bond.
Additional charges for accused robber
A man accused of robbing Diamond's has received more charges.
Thomas Scott Ivey, 25, of Peels Chapel Road, Laurel Hill, is charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a sheriff's report said. These charges are unrelated to the robbery.
Ivey was out on bond after being charged with armed robbery in connection to the Aug. 14 robbery of Diamond's in Laurel Hill. He is also awaiting trial for maintaining a drug dwelling, trafficking by manufacturing, trafficking by possession, conspiracy to traffic and possession of stolen goods.
He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
Pair accused in larcenies
A man and woman from Laurinburg were accused as thieves, a sheriff's report said.
Thomas Jay Prevatte, 30, and Lashonda Kay Clark Prevatte, 22, both of Queen Street, are charged with two counts of felony larceny and one count of misdemeanor larceny. Thomas Prevatte is also charged with failure to appear in court on child support charges.
They each were placed in Scotland County jail under a $10,000 bond. Prevatte must also pay the $188.96 he owes in unpaid child support.
