A Hoke County woman was arrested on charges of stealing and fraud, a sheriff's report said.
Angela R. McFayden, 37, of Army Road, Raeford, is charged with larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses. The report said the larceny occurred June 3, 2007 and the other charge came from a Dec. 10 incident.
She was placed in Scotland County jail under a $3,500 bond.
Alleged burglar arrested
Deputies apprehended an alleged burglar Thursday afternoon, according to a sheriff's report.
Garrett Wade Anderson, 21, of Sallie McNair Road, Laurinburg, was arrested and charged with burglary by forcible entry and larceny. He was placed in Scotladn County jail under a $3,000 bond.
Pair arrested as shoplifters
Two South Carolina teens were charged after allegedly shoplifting from a Laurinburg grocery, a sheriff's report said.
Deputies served warrants Thursday afternoon on 17-year old Kelly Lynn Outlaw and 17-year old Kristie Michelle Gainey, both of Statnton Avenue, McColl, for larceny. They are accused of stealing from Food Lion.
The teens were each released on a written promise to appear in court.
Woman arrested for AWDW
A Maxton woman is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Kelly Locklear, 24, of Chalmers Drive, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent of inflicting a serious injury, according to a sheriff’s report.
She was being held at Robeson County jail under a $5,000 bond.
S.C. man charged as burglar
A Marlboro County man is accused of a July 14 burglary, a sheriff's report said.
Brenson Sterling Chavis, 21, of Roosevelt Street, McColl, is charged with burglary by forcible entry and larceny after a breaking and entering.
