Deputies arrested two alleged crack dealers Thursday morning as part of an effort to clean up Crestline Road, Investigator Scott Jacobs said.

Jennifer Locklear, 27, of 5281 Crestline Road is charged with two counts of possession with the intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, one count of sell and deliver crack cocaine, two counts of maintaining a drug dwelling and one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. She was placed in Scotland County jail under a $40,000 bond.

Kevin Leron Jackson, 25, of 7481 Crestline Road is charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, sell and deliver crack cocaine and maintaining a drug dwelling. He was placed in Scotland County jail under a $25,000 bond.

While serving warrants on Locklear, deputies confiscated 1.5 grams of crack cocaine, a small plastic bag containing marijuana, $418 in cash and a bottle of 19 Zanax pills, Jacobs said.

"[The Zanax] was in a bottle that was not prescribed to her," Jacobs said. "She claimed it was another family member's pills."

He said the bottle was unlabeled and deputies are investigating the matter. It may result in additional charges.

Jacobs said the arrests were the result of an undercover operation in the Crestline Road area.

Sheriff Shep Jones says this is part of the Sheriff's Department's ongoing drug operations.

"We received a lot of complaints about drug activity and other criminal activity in the Crestline area. We are continuing to investigate all allegations and are glad we are able to clean up the Crestline Road area."

Jones says the undercover operations are the result of number of complaints and deputies will continue to target areas with numerous calls.
