Mrs. Cora Lee Troy, 90, of 206 W. Rockingham Road, Maxton, formerly of Whiteville, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness on Highway 71 in Red Springs. Burial will be at McLeod Cemetery in Maxton. Viewing will be on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 from 1 until 7 p.m. at S & L Funeral Home in Maxton.

Survivors are daughters Margaret Gilchrist, Grace Ugbekile, and Patricia Rose; a son, Ralph Troy; a sister, Isadora McMillan; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Margaret Gilchrist of Maxton.
