A Laurinburg man was arrested Tuesday for assaulting and threatening a woman, a sheriff's report said.
Joshua Adam Grooms, 22, of Lee's Mill Road, is charged with assault on a female, communicating threats and larceny.
He was placed in Scotland County jail without bond.
Alleged larcenist charged
A Laurel Hill man was charged as a thief, according to a sheriff's report.
Timothy Sampson, 40, of Andrew Jackson Highway, is charged with larceny. Deputies served the warrant Monday night. He signed a written promise to appear for court and was released.
One charged in domestic incident
A woman was charged with assault and threats after a domestic incident, according to a sheriff's report.
Kathy Jo Beasly, 30, of Palmer Road, was arrested Tuesday and charged with domestic assault and threats.
