Dr. Sara Creager Childress and Denis Archibald Fallon were united in marriage May 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. The Rev. Peter Miller officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Creager Childress of Houston. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cameron and the late Mr. and Mrs. Scott T. Childress. She is a graduate of St. John's School in Houston, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and an honors Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. She graduated May 27 from the Baylor College of Medicine, where she plans to pursue a seven-year residency in general surgery. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Denis George Fallon of Blacksburg, Va. He is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Francis X. Fallon, formerly of Dunn, and the late Honorable and Mrs. Archibald A. McMillan of Raleigh. He is a graduate of Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, S.C. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee in 2007. He is an associate in the Global Transactions Practice Group in the Houston office of King Spalding LLP.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

Attending the bride as maids of honor were Cameron Anne Childress, sister of the bride, and Katherine Emily Byers. Bridesmaids were Jill Fallon, Sarah Mauney, Aislyn Nelson, Jessica Peters, Robin Ricks and Catherine Simonton. The flower girl was Margaux Angus.

Serving the groom as best man was his father. Groomsmen were Jose Diaz-Miron, Matthew Hasty, Willis Leitner, Adam Meyer, Frank Nichols, Allen Schapiro and Campbell Wilson. Ushers were Henry Howes, Richard LePere, Jesse Myers, Joshua Rhodes, Jared Sokolsky, Randolph Wellington and Charles Workman. After a wedding trip to Tahiti, the couple now reside in Houston.
