Billy Wilkerson Flowers, Sr.
Mr. Billy Wilkerson Flowers, Sr., 65, of 455 McDougald Ave., Laurinburg, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Franklin Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Laurinburg. The Rev. Paul Murphy will officiate. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Laurinburg.
Survivors are his wife, Ernestine Flowers of Laurinburg; one son, Billy Flowers, Jr. of Greensboro; one daughter, Venita Jarman of Durham; one sister, Barbara Alcindor of Brooklyn, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
McPhatter Funeral Home is serving the family.
